Scarf Project
Another great year for the High Risk Breast Program's Scarf Project! Scarf sales from this past Fall and Winter generated over $3600 to support the HRBP. Many thanks to all those who have supported the HRBP by knitting and/or purchasing scarves.
Scarves are collected throughout the year and are sold at FAHC's Breast Care Center and in UVM's Growing Vermont in the Davis Center from September through March. The proceeds from these scarves fund the HRBP's educational newsletter, data collection costs, patient-related research costs, and program coordination costs.
If you are interested in knitting for the HRBP contact Fonda Kingsley for more information (802-656-8502). We will also gladly accept donations of your leftover skeins or bulk skeins of high-quality yarn that could in turn be offered to our knitters for creating scarves.
